Hello, I’m Sarah Haworth, a funeral celebrant dedicated to creating heartfelt, personal ceremonies that honour each life with dignity, warmth, and authenticity. My journey to becoming a celebrant has been shaped by a life spent connecting with people and helping them express the things that matter most. With a background in musical theatre, teaching, directing, and performing, I have always believed in the power of storytelling.

I’ve spent many years guiding others in how to express emotion, find their voice, and communicate with meaning and confidence. Most recently, I worked as a Project Manager for Age UK in South Gloucestershire, Bristol, where I had the privilege of supporting older adults in overcoming digital exclusion, building strong community connections, and ensuring individuals and families felt heard, valued, and respected.

This role deepened my commitment to compassionate communication and strengthened my understanding of what it means to support people through vulnerable and significant moments.

As a funeral celebrant, my passion lies in crafting person-centred services that reflect the unique story of every individual. I work closely with families, listening, learning, and gently guiding to create ceremonies that feel authentic, comforting, and truly meaningful. Whether traditional, contemporary, spiritual, or simple, the heart of every service is the person being remembered.

Faith, No Faith or Inbetween

Faith, No Faith, or In Between With Sarah’s community-centred approach, we are able to create: • Completely non-religious ceremonies

• Ceremonies with a light touch of faith (prayers, blessings, or gentle spiritual language)
